LeDoux participated in his first rodeo at the age of 12, and soon after, he was capturing youth rodeo contests.
LeDoux participated in rodeo competitions throughout his early teenage years. He joined Cheyenne Central High School after his parents relocated to Cheyenne. LeDoux won a rodeo sponsorship at Casper College in Wyoming before receiving the Cheyenne Rodeo National title and horse riding title twice in graduation. LeDoux won the Academic National Horseback Riding Tournament throughout his final year at Casper College.
