Corfu is a Greek island, it resides near the Ionian sea and is also near to the Ionian University. Corfu town is an ancient city that is the heart of ancient Greek temples and full of a rich, interesting history.

Corfu town is famous for many many things. The Venetian influence in the architecture of Corfu city represents the Venetian nobility just perfectly and encapsulates its history. Apart from that, this Greek island also shows a little about the Ottoman Empire, the Venetian period's influence can be seen in Corfu's capital. Nonetheless, this island is an old and vintage city to visit, with Greek theater and Byzantine castle which makes this place a tourist attraction.
