Kacey

Kasey is an American variant of the Irish name Casey, which is derived from the Old Irish name ‘Cathasach’. Cathasach is the Gaelic word for ‘vigilant at war’ and thus the meaning of Kasey is ‘vigilant’ or ‘watchful’. As a name, Kasey is most commonly found in Ireland. It was originally used as a nickname for Kassandra (also spelt as Cassandra) but eventually began to be used as a name independently. Australian country singer Kasey Chambers and American racing driver Kasey Kahne are two famous figures with the name Kasey.
