As long as they are plastic crisps packets and not foil your favourite snack's packaging can be shrunk down to miniature versions of themselves. How to:

  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius
  2. Eat your crisps.
  3. Clean your crisp packet using water and washing up liquid.
  4. Dry the crisp packet
  5. Cover the bottom of the baking tray with foil.
  6. Put the crisp packet on the foil and put in the oven.
  7. Leave the crisp packet for 2-3 minutes
  8. Take them out the oven and see your tiny crisp packet emerge.

This is also a good solution for calming children who tend to throw things as throwing the glitter bottle will relieve stress as well as watching the glitter settle. This is how you make them:

  1. Clean out your jar or bottle with warm water and soap.
  2. Fill your jar/bottle with warm water a third of the way up.
  3. Add glitter glue (or clear glue mixed with glitter) and stir until it is combined with the water.
  4. Then add around 3 drops food colouring (not too many as you don't want the colour to be too dark and obscure the glitter).
  5. Then pour in some more glitter to give your jar a mixture of textures - you can mix colours or even add sequins or stars if you have them available to you.
  6. Stir well until combined with the existing mixture.
  7. Then top the rest of the jar with warm water, until it is almost full. Leave a little gap at the top to allow the mixture to move.
