With a big playground, plenty of animals and lots of farmyard fun, award-winning Playdale Farm Park suits animal-loving kids as well as those who are fascinated by tractors and things that move.

A visit to this farm full of animals will suit everyone, and there are plenty of options for those who just want to let off steam, with lots of play areas. At Playdale Farm Park near Scarborough, your children can meet and feed animals large and small, there is something for everyone!

What Can I Do At Playdale Farm Park?

The main attraction here is the animals. You can meet a range of different farm animals including alpacas, sheep, goats, ponies, donkeys, pigs, llamas, rabbits and guinea pigs, as well as plenty of poultry.

Although the indoor play area is currently closed due, there's still plenty of outdoor fun to be had at Playdale Farm Park. Why not have a go on the Frisbee golf course? This one's fun for the whole family. To play this game, you need to throw the Frisbee through a hole in the different animal picture boards. The least throws wins.

Children can also race down the summer sledge run, have a go on the zip wire, and both adults and kids can enjoy riding on the pedal go-karts. There's a great track to ride around and if you're family that likes a bit of competition, why not make it a race? First one over the finishing line wins! Plus, the indoor pedal tractors have been moved outside to make the activity safe and socially distanced.

Bring a picnic or pick up a take-away meal at the cafe, then settle down at one of the picnic tables dotted around the Playdale Farm Park or near the Metropolis play area. This playground has a choice of five exciting slides, lots of tunnels, walkways and covered areas; perfect for sparking imaginative games. The kids can play while the adults are close enough to keep a watchful eye with a coffee or tea from the kiosk.

Have you got a birthday coming up? Take the work out of the event by holding your child's party at Playdale Farm Park, conveniently near Scarborough. The farm will provide invitations, lunch, activities with the animals and guests are welcome to visit the farm for the rest of the day. The minimum birthday party number is 10 children and the cost is £13 per child. This includes a choice of chicken nuggets or fish fingers with beans and chips, plus an ice cream for a maximum of 15 children, or sandwiches, crisps, sausage rolls and buns for a maximum of 25 children.
