With a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from Shivaji University and a Master's Degree in Computer Applications from Pune University, Rutvij’s work speaks for itself. Equipped with five years of experience in content writing, digital marketing, technical writing, social media strategy, and keyword research and optimization, Rutvij is always up for a challenge. If that’s not all, he even completed a short-term course in Networking and Ethical Hacking and a content marketing certification course by HubSpot. When he’s not looking for his next challenge, you’ll find him listening to and creating music, reading, or cooking.
Aditi attended Mumbai University and graduated with a degree in Science in Microbiology and Biotechnology. She has also a gained a Bachelor's in Education. Aditi is an enthusiastic teacher, editor, and a proud parent of two teenagers. She has a strong passion for teaching and has spent more than a decade teaching lots of subjects to students of different ages. Presently, she works as an editor and content developer and has produced a plethora of children’s books and magazines over the past ten years. She is also in the process of writing her book!
Urvashi is a dedicated full-time wordsmith! She completed a degree in English Literature from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, and her master's from Presidency University, Kolkata. Urvashi has been working as an assistant editor at a publishing house and as a content writer, editor, and approver for quite a few years now. She is also a published poet, having been featured in print and e-journals, magazines, and anthologies.
A scientific advisor, project manager, teacher, and writer, Erin brings so much to the table. Her academic background is equally impressive. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from St Andrews University and then obtained a Master of Science from Imperial College, London. She has worked as a scientific advisor for eight years, managing complex projects and liaising with stakeholders. While working as an educator for six years, she taught science, English, and mathematics to students between the ages of 4-16, taking online and in-person classes. To take her career up a notch, she started working as a professional researcher, writer, and editor in the education and science sectors, where she produced varied content and prepared documentation for different sources, including newspapers, blogs, journals, books, teaching portals, and lifestyle magazines.
Kelly joined Kidadl with more than 15 years of experience in marketing and communications. Along with writing for different clients, she is also a freelance writer, editor, and blogger who shares her experience with readers about living as an expat with her family. She is also a full-time mother who always seeks exciting and fun activities to keep her three kids occupied and entertained. Kelly is a Public Relations graduate from Deakin University, Geelong, Australia, and has also acquired a Master’s of Marketing degree from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.
Lara fell in love with the English language when she started to read for the first time at the young age of four. She has stayed connected with the language in some way or the other. She studied English and Biology at Camosun College and Vancouver Island University in British Columbia, Canada. After that, she obtained her ESL teaching certification to make her career in the education sector. Bringing her passion for the English language and enthusiasm for teaching together, she started working as an English teacher, and the job took her to Spain, Japan, and Thailand. She has now returned to Canada and has dedicated herself to freelance editing at Kidadl, a position that allows her to study the English language.
Aubree has completed her graduation with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and soon enrolled for Masters in Project Management. She is an alumnus of Cornerstone University, Grand Rapids, MI, USA. While pursuing her academic goals, Aubree started working as an editor and gained over seven years of experience in the field. She has also worked as a blogger for over two years and as a social media content marketer for one year. With such vast editing and writing experience, Aubree adds so much to the team as an approver.
Shaurya takes preen in his analytical approach, ability to administer reasonable efforts, and commitment to deliver quality. He has completed a Bachelor’s in Commerce degree from Punjab University and earned a post-graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from Punjab University, Chandigarh. While working as a Digital Content Assistant at Infotec Global Services, he wrote several creative and engaging articles for the company and gained SEO knowledge. After working there for two years, he decided to switch his career. He started working as a Business Development Manager at Angel Broking Pvt Ltd. Shaurya now works as a Sales Manager at Axis Bank and is also a part of Kidadl as an approver.
For Krishna, a career in corporate communication and content writing will enable her to utilize her expertise in writing, editing, communicating, and teaching. Primarily a teacher, she’s worked with several schools and tutoring institutes teaching English grammar and literature, spoken English, presentation and debating skills, and more. An effective communicator with an excellent command of the English language, Krishna possesses proficiency in writing and research and provides her students with an interactive teaching and learning environment.
Adding diversity to our team, we have Christina from Canada. She is a parent of two adorable cats who always keep her on her toes. She has already obtained a Diploma in Accounting and will soon complete certification in information technology. Christina likes to stay active rather than lazing around, so she is often found reading books, listening to music, or playing with her two felines.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the Manipal School of Architecture and Planning, Deeksha embodies innovative thinking. A creative, analytical, and goal-oriented individual, she prides herself on her excellent organizational and management skills. A keen observer, she channels her creative energies toward editing articles to ensure copies are clear, concise, and well-researched. During her undergraduate course, she’s made it to the Top 50 at the SundarBari International Student Design Competition and was the winner at the Toy Make-a-thon, Innovation Centre, Manipal. A polyglot, Deeksha speaks five languages, including English, Hindi, Konkani, Kannada, and French. You’ll find her engaged in creative pursuits like sketching, painting, photography, or embarking on a new travel adventure when she's not working.

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Information Technology from Sahyadri Institute of Technology and Management, Mangalore, and a Master’s Degree in Technology (Engineering Management) from Manipal Institute of Technology, and has gone on work for many reputed companies in India as a technical support specialist. Over the course of her career, she’s been honored with The Summit Individual Award Certificate Of Recognition, and has since then, gone on to hone her writing and technical skills. She shows a keen interest in Google analytics, SEO, and business analysis.
For Shubhra, the world is an ocean of possibilities that she can’t wait to explore. Talented and resourceful, she’s a creative writer and thinker who holds her craft in high esteem. Anupama is a content coordinator with an extensive experience in sales, academic research, content writing, advertising, and market research. Her diverse professional roles helped her hone communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Anupama has completed her Bachelor's in Archaeology and Ancient History from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and obtained a master’s degree in the same field. Before coming on board with Kidadl, Anupama has worked as a research associate, customer care executive, and data intel associate. When not occupied with her work, Anupama loves reading books, watching a Marvel movie, or listening to Jagjit Singh songs.
Kripal is a detail-oriented marketing coordinator who prioritizes improving user experiences. She has done Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from North Bengal University and MSc. in Fashion Management from MAKAUT. Kripal has also obtained certifications in social media marketing and digital marketing. While working as a social media manager and business development associate, Kripal acquired a fair knowledge of brand management, ad creativity, copywriting, content curation, google ads, pay-per-click, and social media optimization and management. Kripal was actively involved in a Transgender Awareness project that required her to make people aware of the intricacies of transition, pre-trauma, and post-trauma of transition, trans mental health, and transgender rights.
Katherine’s interest in the world around her inspired her to study Geography at the University of Exeter. While there, she took the opportunity to study at the University of Wollongong in Australia for her third year. Outside of learning, Katherine made the most of all the exciting adventures Australia had to offer, from swimming with turtles to skydiving and trekking through rainforests. She hopes to inspire children and families to learn about the world with the same sense of curiosity and adventure at Kidadl.
After completing his degree in English literature and philosophy at Oxford Brookes University, Jacob began a career in hospitality, running a bar and restaurant on Oxford’s Cowley Road. During his time in hospitality, he began writing a weekly quiz. After a difficult 2020, he decided the time was right for a career change. The opportunity to work at Kidadl with a focus on entertaining and educating young people was a perfect platform for him to use the skills he developed academically and in the hospitality industry. He still enjoys quizzes and is looking forward to creating more for Kidadl. He enjoys skateboarding (though his knees constantly resist), soccer, and puzzles in his spare time.
Monisha was born and raised in London, but as a Modern Languages graduate, she loves to travel and explore. She enjoys learning new languages and discovering other cultures, especially their food! A private tutor and tennis coach in her spare time, Monisha enjoys teaching kids new things and finds it both fun and very rewarding.
Pete's background is a blend of research and creativity, which makes him an excellent editor and a keen contributor to the Kidadl team. He has about half a decade of experience in content creation and editing. This practical know-how spans different niches such as blog writing, technical writing, and copywriting. Pete has worked with top brands such as KODAK and Motorola. Outside of work, he spends most of his time trying out new genres of music or reading.
Jade has a lot of experience writing for children. After her Master's degree in Criminal Investigation, Jade undertook a PGCE in Primary Education at Durham University. She then worked as a science teacher, developing her understanding of child development, which makes her excellent at understanding the needs and education of children. Jade then moved into content management in education, undertaking a UX Design Diploma, so she can ensure our content always looks great. In her spare time, Jade enjoys baking, board games, and spending time with her family, which includes her pug and Jack Russell. She also loves learning, so she is always listening to podcasts or watching quiz shows.
