You’ll definitely want to book a table at The Half Moon to secure your spot at this stylish and newly renovated Grade II listed hotel, complete with outdoor greenery and of course, play area. Plus, this family-friendly pub has even got a giant Connect 4 game, perfect for keeping kids entertained while the food's in the oven. Not to mention, at this impressive pub, kids can join in the pub fun as the children's menu offers a delicious mini Sunday roast for just £7, complete with all the trimmings - mmm.

Head To The Florence - It Will Make Your Day

One of our fave child-friendly pubs, The Florence, serves up modern British pub food and, situated opposite the infamous Brockwell Park, it’s the perfect place to pitch up for a spot of lunch. It reopened on 6 July, and you’ll be back in no time to dine on some tasty pub food and head to the children’s play area that is fully equipped and perfect for toddlers and youngsters.

Dine Royally At The Duke of Kent

Where? The Duke of Kent - Scotch Common, West Ealing, London W13 8DL

Dine like kings and queens at The Duke of Kent, another pub that opened its doors on 4 July. Again, you must book online in advance if you want to reserve your spot for the perfect pint and pub lunch, so get on it! Deemed the best pub garden in Ealing, The Duke of Kent certainly doesn’t disappoint. With its luscious green area, complete with fun, colourful huts and table tennis tables located at the rear of this haven for summer, as well as an impressive children’s menu, you wouldn’t want to soak up the sun anywhere else. Plus, The Duke of Kent pub is dog-friendly, so don’t hesitate to bring your pooch along for a bit of summer fun.

Relax at Battersea’s Finest: The Latchmere

Where? The Latchmere -  503 Battersea Park Rd, Battersea, London SW11 3BW

Heading a little more South now, The Latchmere in Battersea boasts an incredible four garden spaces, including a blazing sun terrace, an alfresco outdoor area where you can keep snug, an open courtyard space and of course, a kids play area complete with a Wendy house, outdoor games and toys (which is yet to open but will do in due course). Plus, The Latchmere reopened to the public on 4 July and you can secure your spot for up to six people online now. Inside, the family-friendly touches continue with accessible baby-changing facilities, high chairs as well as colouring in and crayons for when social distancing measures get relaxed a little more, making this pub ideal for the whole family. Not to mention, the kids menu offers delicious traditional pub grub including roast beef, chicken and fish and chips as well as all-time favourite desserts like sticky toffee pudding and even banoffee pie - yum!

Enjoy A Great Play Area At The Rosendale

Where? 65 Rosendale Rd, Norwood, London SE21 8EZ

After opening back for business on 4 July, The Rosendale pub in West Dulwich, London can’t wait to have their beer garden full again! You can book a table for up to six people online and can call the restaurant if you’d like to get a little more information on the social distancing measures in place. The Rosendale prides itself on serving simple, seasonable and sustainable food so you’re guaranteed a good family meal. Plus, when social distancing measures are relaxed a little more, The Rosendale has an impressive garden space complete with a climbing frame, table tennis and football tables as well as boules for adults. Keep an eye out for when their kids area is re-opening because you simply can’t miss out on this popular, child-friendly pub.

Hop-On At The White Horse

Where? The White Horse - Worple Way, Richmond TW10 6DF

Located in Richmond, London this child-friendly pub provides the perfect place to relax amongst the hustle and bustle of the city. Alongside the pub there is a large play area, perfect for kids to let off some steam after fuelling up (we would recommend that younger children are supervised as the play area is not in immediate sight from some areas in the pub) and ideal for a hot day. Plus, with a range of mains to choose from on the children's menu including battered haddock and chips and linguine pesto pasta for just £7 and ice-cream for dessert for £2.50, you really can’t go wrong with this family-friendly restaurant.

Take A Trip To The Iconic Drayton Court

As one of the most well-known child-friendly pubs in London, The Drayton Court boasts the biggest beer garden in London, a fantastic kids play area, outdoor table tennis and even giant garden games where you can unleash your more competitive sides! Planning to re-open their doors shortly, the family-friendly The Drayton Court is home to outstanding food and drink, including an impressive children's menu that includes all your delicious pub faves with a twist for the little ones - for example, homemade fish fingers! Plus, as it’s also a hotel, why not book in for a night and spend the next day exploring Ealing, one of the greenest suburbs in these parts.

Go For An Old-School Option: The Turk’s Head

Where? The Turk’s Head - 28 Winchester Rd, St Margarets, Twickenham TW1 1LF

Also ready and waiting is The Turk’s Head (again you will be required to book online to secure your spot). This lively pub boasts a lovely beer garden as well as a small jungle gym and climbing frame for your little ones.
