Think you know the tale of the Wizard of Oz? The smash-hit musical of the century is here to prove you wrong. Discover the true story behind the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch as Wicked The Musical takes you back to the girls’ early days, when the two polar-opposite witches were actually best friends.

Based on Gregory Maguire's famous 1995 novel, Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, which re-imagined the familiar tale of The Wizard of Oz, Wicked has been ingeniously adapted to theatre by playwright Winnie Holzman and composer Stephen Schwartz. After soaring to the stage in 2003, it became one of the most successful West End musicals of the decade and its gravity-defying power continues to reign on.

Wicked follows the unlikely but life-changing friendship of popularity-queen Glinda and the misunderstood Elphaba from their initial meeting at Shiz University, revealing how they became the infamous witches we all know from Oz. With dazzling make-up and costume design, magical sets and a spellbinding vocal range that really is out of this world, the Wicked cast and creatives have touched millions of hearts worldwide. Whether you’re a long-time fan or Wicked newbie, grab your West End tickets now and don't miss one of the most spell-binding musicals in London.
